The new Forte will have the same engine as the Sedan and Koup, but will offer a new six speed automatic or manual transmission that the 2010 models did not offer.  Even with it’s new transmission, it is shorter than the 2010 sedan and koup.  However, it is longer than the Volkswagen Golf, which can be found at Volvo Dealer Portland.  The Kia Forte has many Pro’s including the five-door hatchback option, excellent handling as well as many standard features like Bluetooth and USB ports.

Kia’s 2010 Forte came with a long list of safety features which should not change with the new 2011 model.  Some of those features are; anti-lock brakes, traction control, electronic stability control, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, tire pressure monitoring system, full length side-curtain air bags and an advanced air bag system for front seat passengers.  The Forte has many safety features that you would or could find in a more expensive car like a Lincoln, which can be found at Lincoln Mercury Dealer South Jersey or even a new Acura like the one’s sold at Acura Dealer Washington, DC.

kia 1 300x225 To Forte or Not to Forte, That is the question!There hasn’t been any information posted about the warranties on the new 2011 Fortes, but the 2010 version has one of the longest warranties in it’s class.  They offer a 10 year/100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty, a five year/60,000 mile limited basic warranty, five year/100,000 mile limited anti-perforation warranty and a five year/60,000 mile 24 hour roadside assistance plan.

The 2011 Kia Forte, as far as smaller affordable cars go, is ranked number 4 out of 31.  US News based this information from the analysis of 28 published reviews and test drives of the new Kia.  Basically this is an ideal car for people who are looking for safety and comfort in not so big yet not so small car.
