Buy Your Next Kia on eBay!

Kia Ebay Buy Your Next Kia on eBay!

Do you remember the very near past where if you wanted to purchase a new car you would drive on over to Seattle Kia to check out their current inventory?  Well, those days still do exist but now you can also find the same cars at Reading Kia from an online eBay site.  You might remember a few years ago when General Motors put some of their vehicles for sale on eBay.  They were mainly California based dealerships, and Chevrolet Dealer Peoria might have been one of them.

Now, Kia Motors America dealerships have teamed up with eBay Motors so that consumers have one more way to purchase a vehicle.  According to the vice president of Kia U.S. sales, Tom Loveless, the partnership has been set up for only two weeks and already almost half of the Kia dealerships in the United States have set up their inventory on the online bidding website.  This does not mean that you are going to be able to buy a new Kia for $1 or anything crazy like that!  Rather, the inventory is listed out on their eBay Motors website with suggested prices.  All the features are listed out as well as plenty of pictures.  Consumers are then encouraged to make an offer for the vehicle of their choosing!

The program that GM set up for California dealerships shut down after not very long because they claimed that they wanted a larger marketing campaign.  There is no distinct reports as to whether or not the eBay sales of new cars was worth the time and effort or not.  According to the experts at J.D. Power and Associates, the amount of auto industry related internet shopping has risen by 17% this year alone, and many people who are in the market for a new car spend a good deal of their time on third-party websites to help them make their purchase decision.
